Douglas M. Bricker is of counsel to the law firm of Dawson & Associates, LLC. Following graduation from law school in 1969, Doug joined the Columbus law firm of Knepper, White, Richards & Miller which merged in 1976 with the Cleveland law firm of Arter & Hadden, LLP. Doug served as chairman of the workers' compensation defense group at Arter & Hadden for over 10 years. In 2001, Doug resigned from Arter & Hadden to co-found the boutique workers' compensation defense firm of Bricker & Maxfield, LLC where he practiced through December 2013.

Doug's practice is primarily concentrated in the representation of Ohio self-insured and state funded employers before the Ohio Industrial Commission, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, and the Occupational Safety & Health Review Commission, as well as before many of the trial and appellate courts throughout the State of Ohio. His clients range from large self-insured industrial and healthcare entities to small local and family-operated state funded employers. For those clients, he provides advice and hearing representation on both workers' compensation and OSHA-related issues.
