Corrine R. Ivey


Corrine R. Ivey holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Akron and subsequently graduated from Capital Law School with a Paralegal Certificate. She then joined a major third party administrator in Dublin, Ohio as a claims examiner assisting state funded employers with the basic principles, procedures and cost control strategies of the Ohio workers' compensation system. Her daily responsibilities included assisting employers with new claim investigation, claims management, defense, and resolution strategies. In 2003, she was exclusively assigned to handle a Central Ohio group consisting of state-funded employers, mostly in the construction trades.

After leaving the third party administrator, Corrine worked as a paralegal at the small boutique workers' compensation defense firm of Bricker & Maxfield LLC. In 2007, she joined Mr. Dawson as a paralegal when he founded the firm of Dawson & Associates, LLC.

In addition to being a speaker at the Safety Council of Greater Columbus, Corrine brings over 18 years' experience in assisting employers in workers' compensation matters to the firm.
